Lighthouse Baptist Church is a Bible-centered community of believers committed to loving and exalting God, equipping the saints, and evangelizing the lost. We purpose to glorify God in the following mutually supportive ways, as directed by the Holy Scriptures:
- Worship God in spirit and truth, and love Him with all our hearts, minds, souls, and strength.
- Serve alongside one another, exercising our spiritual gifts.
- Love and serve our neighbors in the world, proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to them.
- Live to the glory of God in every aspect of our lives.
Identifying descriptions to help understand our mission and stance are:
- Christian – In our belief in Jesus Christ as the only Savior
- Baptist – In our history and practice
- Independent – In our church government and leadership
- Fundamental – In our interpretation of the Scriptures (which we hold to as inerrant)
